Chalmers Ford Honored with United Way’s 2024 United in Purpose Award

When Mike Michnuk walked up to accept Chalmers Ford's 2024 United in Purpose Award, he wasn't just representing our dealership—he was representing nearly three decades of community partnership and the thousands of hours our team dedicates to serving our neighbors in Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, and beyond.

At Chalmers Ford, giving back isn't a slogan—it's part of our DNA. That's why we're honored to share that we've been awarded the 2024 United in Purpose Award by United Way of North Central New Mexico.

This award recognizes organizations that go above and beyond to support United Way's mission through volunteerism, community support, and authentic partnership. It's a powerful affirmation of what we believe in: Real People. Real Impact.

Our own Mike Michnuk proudly accepted the award on behalf of the entire Chalmers Ford team. "Receiving this award on behalf of Chalmers was a truly meaningful moment," Mike shared. "It's a reflection of the heart our team brings to every project under the Chalmers Cares initiative. We don't just talk about helping—we live it every day."

The numbers tell the story of our broader community commitment: our team contributes over 4,000 hours of service annually and donated an $99,752 directly to United Way in 2024. From food drives for St. Felix Pantry to Meals on Wheels NM volunteering and monthly Jeans for a Cause fundraisers supporting JDRF, our dealership has always believed in leading with purpose and community-first action.
