At Chalmers Ford, giving back isn't an occasional campaign — it's how we do business. Through our long-standing initiative, Chalmers Cares, every department completes a hands-on community service project each year, supporting organizations throughout our local communities. 

These aren't top-down assignments. They're led by our people, based on causes they’re truly passionate about. Whether they’re volunteering at senior centers, supporting local food banks, or restoring community spaces, our team shows up because it matters to them.

How Chalmers Cares Community Projects Work 

Each year, our dealership teams choose a cause that reflects a local need or personal connection. While we maintain a network of trusted community partners throughout the Albuquerque metro area, the decision is always theirs. 

2025 Completed Community Projects: 

• Fairview Cemetery – Historic restoration and cleanup 

• Roadrunner Food Bank – Donation and volunteer support 

• Blue Star Mothers – Military family assistance 

• JDRF – Monthly fundraising campaign to support juvenile diabetes research 

Some projects are large-scale events. Others are quiet acts of service. All of them reflect genuine care and connection to our New Mexico communities.

General Manager Andy Strebe emphasizes how these projects strengthen both the community and the dealership team: "What stands out most is the consistency. Every day, our people show up—whether it's on the lot serving customers or out in the community serving others. That's what makes the difference."
