However, your vehicle also requires routine maintenance and service, which can impact your already busy schedule. That's where Chalmers Ford RIDES comes in to help.

What Is RIDES?

RIDES is our Chalmer Ford's exclusive transportation program in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, designed specifically to support you during all your vehicle service appointments. Whether your vehicle requires regular maintenance or intensive repairs, RIDES will ensure that your car servicing doesn't disrupt your daily schedule too much. Here's what the RIDES program includes.

R — Remote Mobile Service

Our remote mobile service is the one we strongly recommend if you have a busy schedule. To organize a service or maintenance appointment, simply contact us to arrange a date and time, specifying your preferred location (your home or office). On your appointment day, we'll send our certified technicians to your location to handle:

  • Routine maintenance needs, such as oil changes and filters
  • Any necessary recall service and software updates
  • Inspections and light repairs

I — Included Pickup

If your vehicle needs to be serviced or repaired at our dealership, we can arrange for it to be picked up, brought in, and returned to you once the service or repair is complete. There's no disruption to your day since you won't need to visit our dealership at all. 

Just schedule an appointment with us and let us know the pickup location. We'll keep you updated on the status of your vehicle and service, providing you with peace of mind.

D — Direct Rideshare

If you've delivered your vehicle to us, but need to head somewhere else, we'll arrange an Uber ride for you. Or if a family member or friend gives you a lift to our dealership, we'll reimburse them up to $5.

E — Eligible Loaners

If your vehicle is involved in an incident and requires extended repairs or warranty work, we can provide you with a loaner vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis while your car is in our care. Here are a few things to note about this service:

  • It's only applicable to compact Ford cars and small SUVs.
  • You'll need to contact us to make a reservation and provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • When returning the vehicle to us, please make sure it's clean and has the same amount of fuel as when you received it.
  • Our loaner vehicles are not applicable for any out-of-state use.

S — Shuttle Service

If you're visiting our dealership for a service appointment and need to run an errand nearby, we offer a shuttle service that provides a short ride to various destinations within a 15-mile radius.
